Who we are

playmoresavemore.com is operated by HmBr Sports. For any question about this policy or the data described in it, write to contact@hmbrsports.com.

What this site does not do

Worth stating plainly, because it removes most of the usual concerns:

• No advertising, ad networks, or ad tracking.
• No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no heatmaps, no session recording, and nothing that follows you to other websites.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of your personal data with anyone for their own purposes.

Counting page views

We count page views to see which pages are read and roughly where in the world our visitors are. It is deliberately the least invasive option available to us:

• No cookies. Nothing is stored on your device for this.
• No IP address is kept. Visits are counted using a short-lived hash derived from the request, discarded after 24 hours, so there is no lasting identifier for you.
• No cross-site tracking. It cannot follow you to other sites or reconstruct your activity elsewhere.
• We see aggregate counts only — country, page, device type, browser, referring site. We cannot see who you are.

Because a URL can itself contain private information, URLs are stripped before anything is sent: sign-in pages are never reported, and private links such as invitations have their secret part removed first.

Signing in

Sign-in is by magic link: you enter an email address and we email you a one-time link. There is no password to store. Authentication is handled by Supabase, which holds your email address and session timestamps on our behalf.

A session cookie keeps you signed in. It is required for the site to recognise you and cannot be disabled while you remain signed in.

One HmBr account works across our sites, but signing up on one does not enrol you in another — per-site membership is always opt-in.

What you send us

When you use the forms on this site we receive:

• Your points activity — what you earned playing, buying or booking, and what you redeemed. This is the ledger.
• Fundraiser details you create: the title, who it is for, what it is funding, and the target amount.
• A player name and age group where a fundraiser names the player it supports.
• Any scholarship conversion you choose to make from your own balance.

We use it to answer you and to provide what you asked for, and for nothing else.

The ledger is meant to be seen

This site exists to show that the money adds up. The community ledger, fundraiser pages and progress toward the scholarship goal are public, and are intended to be read by anyone.

Your personal passbook is not. Your own balance, your individual transactions and your redemption history are visible to you when you are signed in, and are not published.

If you start a fundraiser, treat everything on the fundraiser page as public — including the player it names and what it is raising money for.

Junior players and fundraisers

Fundraisers often support a junior player, which means a child's name and age group can appear on a public page alongside a financial goal.

A fundraiser naming a player under 18 should be set up by a parent or guardian, and we keep the published detail to the minimum the fundraiser needs — first name or name and age group, what is being funded, and the amount. We do not publish a junior player's address, school, contact details or photograph.

Any parent or guardian can ask us to change how a player is named, or to take a fundraiser page down. Write to us and we will do it.

Who else sees technical data

• Vercel hosts the site and processes requests, including your IP address, as part of serving pages.
• Supabase provides authentication and the database.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so Google can see your IP address. No other Google service is used here.

These act as processors for us. We do not send them anything about you for their own purposes.

How long we keep things

Account records are kept until you ask us to delete them. Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Page-view counts are aggregate and are not tied to you at any point.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how it is used. Write to contact@hmbrsports.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Changes

If this site starts collecting something it does not collect today, this page will be updated before that change goes live, and the date at the top will change with it.
